This is a reference page. It answers one practical question carefully: which ZIP codes make up Hollywood, Florida, and what does each one mean for a man looking for sober living in Hollywood, FL? People type “Hollywood FL ZIP code” into a search bar for many reasons. They’re filling out a form, checking an address, or working out whether the sober house they’ve been told about is near the beach or out by the Turnpike. Here you’ll find definitions first, then the ZIP codes one at a time, then a summary table, then the recovery resources that go with them.
A note on scope: The Foundry runs one of its two men’s sober living houses in Hollywood, Foundry: Beachhouse, in ZIP 33019. For an overview of the city as a place to recover, see our main guide, Sober Living in Hollywood, Florida: What to Expect. This page doesn’t repeat that guide. It catalogs the city by ZIP code.
Definitions: four terms worth getting straight
ZIP code. A five-digit delivery area set by the U.S. Postal Service. A ZIP describes mail routes, not municipal boundaries. One ZIP can cover parts of several cities, and one city can contain many ZIPs.
Postal name (or “preferred city”). The city name the Postal Service attaches to a ZIP. In south Broward the word “Hollywood” is the postal name for ZIPs that lie mostly inside Pembroke Pines and Miramar. An address that says “Hollywood, FL” is not necessarily inside the City of Hollywood.
Standard, PO box and unique ZIPs. A standard ZIP delivers to street addresses. A PO-box ZIP serves only post-office boxes, and a unique ZIP is assigned to a single large organization. This guide covers standard ZIPs. The PO-box-only ZIPs that carry the Hollywood name (33022, 33081, 33083 and 33084) are left out of the tables because nobody lives in them.
Men’s sober living (recovery residence). A drug- and alcohol-free home for men in recovery, with house rules, accountability and peer support. It’s housing, not treatment or detox. In Florida, recovery residences can be certified under section 397.487 of the Florida Statutes, through the Florida Association of Recovery Residences (FARR).

Hollywood FL ZIP codes, one entry at a time
Wikipedia’s Hollywood article lists ten ZIP codes that touch the city: 33004, 33009, 33019, 33020, 33021, 33023, 33024, 33312, 33314 and 33316. ZIP-code databases add the ZIPs that carry the Hollywood postal name but sit mostly in neighboring cities. Each entry below gives the ZIP, the areas it covers, and what a man in recovery would want to know.
33019: Hollywood Beach and the Intracoastal
The easternmost Hollywood ZIP, about 15,500 residents at the 2020 census. It takes in the barrier island (Hollywood Beach and its Broadwalk) and the mainland along the Intracoastal Waterway, including the eastern part of the Hollywood Lakes neighborhood. The Anne Kolb Nature Center (751 Sheridan Street) and the Carpenter House marine education center (4414 Surf Road) are both 33019 addresses in the Broward County Parks directory. Recovery note: this is where Foundry: Beachhouse is, at 701 Hollywood Blvd. Mornings on the Broadwalk, kayaking the mangrove trails and walking the beach at sunset are some of the best free sober hours in the county.
33020: Downtown Hollywood and Young Circle
The historic core: downtown Hollywood around Young Circle and its ArtsPark, west along Hollywood Boulevard to City Hall. The Hollywood Lakes neighborhood straddles 33019 and 33020. Recovery note: Downtown is walkable and on several BCT routes, with cafes, a public park at its center, and restaurant and retail jobs. Downtown also has bars and late-night spots, which is worth keeping in mind in the first months.
33021: Emerald Hills, Hollywood Hills and the Tri-Rail corridor
Central and north-central Hollywood west of downtown, including the Emerald Hills and Hollywood Hills neighborhoods, plus the Hollywood Tri-Rail station. Its population was about 50,000 in 2020, and the ZIP also reaches into Pembroke Park and West Park. Recovery note: this is the most useful ZIP for a man without a car, because Tri-Rail runs south to Miami and north to Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach County from here. The neighborhoods are quiet and residential.
33023: Southwest Hollywood (“West Hollywood”)
A large ZIP (about 67,000 residents) whose accepted names include West Hollywood, West Park, Pembroke Park, Miramar and Pembroke Pines. It covers southwestern Hollywood and spills into all four of those communities. Recovery note: a mostly residential area with good access to I-95 and the Turnpike. Our Pembroke Park and West Park guide covers the smaller towns inside it.
33024: Northwest Hollywood toward Pembroke Pines
About 75,000 residents. The postal name is Hollywood, with Pembroke Pines as an accepted alternative, and the ZIP reaches west to the edge of Cooper City. Recovery note: the CareerSource Broward South Center, a public job center, is at 7550 Davie Road Extension (33024). If a man needs work, this is a practical first stop.
33004 and 33009: the edges shared with Dania Beach and Hallandale Beach
33004 is mainly Dania Beach’s ZIP, and 33009 is mainly Hallandale Beach’s. Both cross into small parts of Hollywood along its northern and southern boundaries. See our guides to Dania Beach and Hallandale Beach.
33312, 33314 and 33316: Fort Lauderdale-named ZIPs on the northern edge
These three ZIPs use Fort Lauderdale as their postal name and are listed for Hollywood because they touch small areas near the city’s northern boundary. Most of their residents live in Fort Lauderdale, Davie or unincorporated Broward.
33025 through 33029: “Hollywood” on the envelope, Pembroke Pines or Miramar on the map
ZIP databases list 33025, 33026, 33027, 33028 and 33029 under the Hollywood postal name, but these ZIPs cover Pembroke Pines, Miramar and parts of Cooper City and Southwest Ranches, not the City of Hollywood. This is the most common source of confusion when someone hears that a house is “in Hollywood.” Our south Broward ZIP code guide maps them city by city.

Which ZIP is the Foundry Beachhouse in?
33019: 701 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, FL 33019, on the Intracoastal Waterway a few minutes from Hollywood Beach.
What to look for in a men’s sober house, in any of these ZIPs
A ZIP code tells you where a house is, not whether it’s any good. These are the questions that matter:
- Is it FARR-certified? Ask for the certificate and check it on the FARR website. Our FARR certification explainer covers what is reviewed.
- Are the rules written and enforced? No alcohol or drugs, a curfew, chores, required meetings, and work, school, volunteering or an outpatient program.
- Is testing randomized? Scheduled tests are easy to game.
- Is admissions honest? A good house will tell you when it isn’t the right fit, and what happens after a relapse.

The Foundry in Hollywood (33019) and North Miami Beach (33162)
Foundry: Beachhouse is a FARR-certified, men-only sober living house at 701 Hollywood Blvd, in ZIP 33019. It has a rooftop terrace, a pool, ping pong, kayaks and a billiards room that looks out on the waterway. It suits men whose jobs, sponsors, outpatient programs or families are in Broward.
Foundry: Lakehouse is at 871 NE 182nd Terrace, North Miami Beach, FL 33162, a lakeside home with eight bedrooms and five bathrooms, canoes and kayaks, a hammock, a tree swing and a fire pit. From central Hollywood it’s roughly 20 to 30 minutes south via I-95, depending on traffic.
Both houses run the same program: no alcohol or drugs, randomized testing, curfew, required meetings, chores, and work, school, volunteering or IOP within the first couple of weeks, with help on resumes and interviews. Rooms are furnished, and utilities, linens, laundry and high-speed internet are included. It’s private pay, with scholarships for qualified men, and rates are given on a call. Early on, we drive new residents to meetings and appointments. Most men stay three to twelve months. The Foundry is a recovery residence, not treatment or detox.
