Welcome. If you landed here looking for a Broward County ZIP code, a quick way to make sense of the map, or sober living in Broward County for yourself or a son, brother or friend, you’re in the right place. This page is the home base for our south Broward series. It covers the cities clustered around Hollywood: Hollywood, Hallandale Beach, Dania Beach, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Davie, Cooper City, West Park, Pembroke Park and Southwest Ranches. You’ll find a regional overview, a plain-English tour of how the ZIP codes are laid out, tables of every residential ZIP, and links to each city guide.
I’m Richard. I’ve spent years around recovery housing in South Florida, and The Foundry’s Beachhouse sits right in the middle of this map, on the Intracoastal in Hollywood. So this is our neighborhood, and we’re glad to show you around.
South Broward in a nutshell
Broward County was founded in 1915 and had 1,944,375 residents at the 2020 census. Fort Lauderdale is the county seat. This guide covers the cities between Fort Lauderdale and the Miami-Dade line. A few numbers to set the scene, from the 2020 census:
- Pembroke Pines: 171,178 people, the biggest city in the area.
- Hollywood: 153,067, founded in the 1920s as a planned city.
- Miramar: 134,721.
- Davie: about 105,700.
- Hallandale Beach: 41,217. Cooper City: 34,401. Dania Beach: 31,723.
- West Park: 15,130 (incorporated in 2005). Southwest Ranches: 7,607. Pembroke Park: 6,260.
Getting around is easier than people expect. Tri-Rail stops at Hollywood (3001 Hollywood Boulevard), Sheridan Street and Fort Lauderdale Airport, Broward County Transit runs the bus network, and I-95, the Turnpike and I-75 carry the cars. Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport and Port Everglades sit at the northeast corner of the region.
The Broward County ZIP code map, in words
We don’t post an image map here. Words are searchable and readable on a phone, and the official lines live with the county anyway. If you want to see the boundaries, Broward County’s GeoHub open data site is the place to look. Here’s the friendly version.
- Start at the ocean. 33019 is Hollywood Beach and the Intracoastal. Just north, 33004 is Dania Beach, and just south, 33009 is Hallandale Beach in the region’s southeast corner.
- Step inland. 33020 is downtown Hollywood and 33021 is central Hollywood around the Tri-Rail station. 33023 covers southwest Hollywood, West Park, Pembroke Park and the eastern edges of Miramar and Pembroke Pines.
- Keep heading west and the numbers climb. 33024 through 33029 run west through Pembroke Pines and Miramar, ending at 33029 on the western edge near Southwest Ranches. Most of these carry “Hollywood” as their postal name, even though they’re not in Hollywood.
- Turn north and you switch to 333xx. Davie, northern Cooper City and Southwest Ranches use 333xx ZIPs with a “Fort Lauderdale” postal name: 33312, 33314, 33317, 33324 to 33326, and 33328 to 33332.
The short version: south Broward has 330 numbers that climb as you go west from the beach, and 333 numbers to the north and west. And the city on the envelope isn’t always the city on the map.
South Broward ZIP codes, city by city
These tables cover the standard residential ZIPs in our region. PO-box-only ZIPs (such as 33008, 33022, 33081, 33082, 33083 and 33084) and unique ZIPs are omitted. ZIPs often cross city lines, so the same ZIP can appear in more than one city’s row below.
Sources: each city’s Wikipedia infobox, cross-checked against zip-codes.com’s Broward County list and its ZIP detail pages (postal names, ZIP types, 2020 census populations). Neighborhood descriptions are general, not official boundaries.

A quick word on Fort Lauderdale: the city’s own core ZIPs (33301 downtown, 33304, 33305, 33306, 33308, 33315, 33316 and others) sit north of this region and share the Fort Lauderdale postal name with the Davie ZIPs above. Our Fort Lauderdale sober house guide covers that side of the county.
How to use a ZIP code when you’re choosing a sober house
A ZIP code is a handy shortcut, as long as you know what it can and can’t tell you. Here’s how I’d put this page to work if I were helping a friend.
- Write down the three addresses that matter. Usually that’s where he’ll work or look for work, where his outpatient program or therapist is, and where his family lives. Find their ZIPs in the tables above and see whether they cluster on the coast, inland, or up in the 333xx area.
- Check the city, not just the postal name. A 33025 or 33027 address says “Hollywood” on the envelope but is in Miramar or Pembroke Pines. A 33328 address says “Fort Lauderdale” but may be in Cooper City or Davie. If a house describes itself by city, make sure the address agrees.
- Think about the commute without a car. Plenty of men don’t drive for the first weeks. ZIPs near the Hollywood and Sheridan Street Tri-Rail stations and along the main bus corridors make meetings and job interviews much easier. Out west, a ride plan matters.
- Decide how close to home is too close. Some men do best a few minutes from family and a familiar home group. Others need a different ZIP, or a different county, to break old routines. Neither answer is wrong. Just be honest about which one is yours.
Then call the house and ask the questions in the next section. The map gets you to the door. The conversation tells you whether to walk through it.

Picking a good house, wherever the ZIP
Honestly, the house matters more than the ZIP code. Here’s what I’d check before anyone I care about moved in:
- Is it certified? Florida certifies recovery residences under section 397.487 of the Florida Statutes, through the Florida Association of Recovery Residences (FARR). Ask to see the certificate. There’s more in our FARR explainer.
- Are the rules real? No alcohol or drugs, randomized testing, curfew, chores, meetings, and work, school, volunteering or IOP. See sober living rules.
- Is it men-only, on purpose? Men’s sober living keeps the focus where it belongs.
- Do they give you straight answers? On fit, on rates (on a call), and on what happens after a relapse.
Meetings, work, parks and family support
Meetings: Broward has a deep AA and NA schedule, from early mornings to late nights. Use the official finders for AA and NA, and see our Hollywood AA meetings guide.
Work: CareerSource Broward has a South Center at 7550 Davie Road Extension in Hollywood (33024), which is handy from almost every ZIP in this guide.
Parks: the Broward County Parks directory lists the region’s big outdoor spaces, including Anne Kolb Nature Center in Hollywood and Brian Piccolo Sports Park & Velodrome in Cooper City. Early recovery goes better with sunshine and a long walk in it.
Families: Al-Anon meets all over Broward. Our families page explains visits and the short blackout period for new residents.

Where The Foundry fits on the map
Foundry: Beachhouse is at 701 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, FL 33019, on the Intracoastal Waterway minutes from Hollywood Beach. It has a rooftop terrace, a pool, ping pong, kayaks and a billiards room with a waterway view. From most south Broward ZIPs it’s roughly 10 to 30 minutes away, depending on where you start and on traffic.
Foundry: Lakehouse is at 871 NE 182nd Terrace, North Miami Beach, FL 33162, just over the county line near Aventura and I-95. It’s a lakeside home with eight bedrooms and five bathrooms, canoes and kayaks, a hammock, a tree swing and a fire pit. From Hollywood it’s roughly 20 to 30 minutes south. Some Broward men pick it precisely because it’s a little farther from home.

Both houses are FARR-certified and men-only. They’re run by men in recovery who are active in the fellowship, and they’re built around meetings, a sponsor and the steps. Rooms are furnished, and utilities, linens, laundry and high-speed internet are included. We drive new residents to meetings and appointments, help with resumes and interviews, and expect work, school, volunteering or IOP within the first couple of weeks. It’s private pay, with scholarships for qualified men, and most men stay three to twelve months. We’re a recovery residence, not treatment or detox.

Give us a call at (954) 817-7143 or start on the admissions page. If someone is in crisis right now, call or text 988, or call 911.
